Thong tin chi tiet nhu sau:This email is to make you aware of a Lenovo battery program we are announcing on August 5 (in the morning U.S. time) to address a customer issue. Please note that this is not a recall or a safety issue. It is a performance issue which impacts a small percentage of batteries depending on usage conditions.Please see the Program Highlights and link below for more details.Program Highlights: The failing Battery has low capacity (run time) or shows an “Irreparable damage” or “Battery cannot be charged" error message. Affects batteries in some ThinkPad T60/T61/R60/R61/X60/X61. There are 10 affected part numbers. This program will provide free replacement of affected (failing) batteries. Failing symptom, solution, Battery Diagnostic Tool and Q’s & A’s are available on Lenovo Web site www.lenovo.com/support under “Lenovo Special Service Programs”. Customer must run the Battery Diagnostic Tool that is on website to qualify for a free replacement. Battery must be in failing state to be eligible for replacement. Replacement process is not through the normal FRU replacement process, it is a completely separate special service program. (web only) Pro-active replacement of customer’s complete install base is not supported, only failing batteries are eligible.
